Fierstein's depiction of 1970s gay culture in the US had resonances of loneliness and the desire for human connection, which were all too familiar to us in the thick of the pandemic.  I portrayed Ed, a closeted bisexual school teacher and love interest to Arnold, a drag queen at the International Stud.
